Salt Free Soil and Irrigation Water Salinity Treatment, 1 L

Description

Salt Free is aimed at soil and water carrying a heavy salt load, sodium chloride in particular. It works through cation exchange, in which calcium takes the place of sodium in the soil, while its organic acids dissolve part of the calcium locked up as carbonate. The effect shows in soil structure, permeability and drainage, and in how easily roots spread and take up nutrients. It also adjusts the pH of both soil and water. The formula contains 30% organic acids and 20% calcium carbonate, with a pH of 5.5 to 6. It is added to irrigation water through any watering method: the dose is split into 3 to 4 equal portions, the first right after the first watering and the rest every 5 days, following the rate printed on the pack.
