Description

Sukkari Mufattal dates from Qassim, with a soft centre inside a firm skin and a high level of sweetness. Sukkari is one of the region's best-known dates, and "mufattal" describes a fruit that curled in on itself as it dried, leaving the flesh tender. The taste is caramel and honey. Serve with Arabic coffee flavoured with cardamom, and keep in a sealed box in the fridge, taking it out half an hour before eating.
