Description

Silicare Sacral is a bordered silicone foam dressing sized 18 x 18 and shaped for the sacral area, made for wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. It is self adhesive and contoured to the lower back. Its multi layer build manages changing fluid levels from the wound while keeping a moist environment around it. Typical uses include pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers, first and second degree burns and post surgical wounds. The silicone adhesive comes off with minimal pain, reducing the skin damage that adhesives often cause, and the dressing is easy to apply, remove and reposition several times. Its contoured shape fits the sacrum closely for better comfort when lying down.
