Description

A gastrostomy feeding tube kit from the MIC-KEY brand made by AVANOS, used to deliver nutrition, water and medication to patients who have difficulty eating or swallowing. The tube is sterile silicone, and its low-profile design sits flat so it is easy to conceal, makes moving around and self-care easier, and can be removed and cleaned without trouble. A tapered distal tip eases insertion, an inflatable internal silicone balloon holds it securely in place, a proximal anti-reflux valve prevents backflow, and a radiopaque stripe keeps it visible on X-ray. The kit includes the tube, a 12-inch continuous feeding extension set, a 12-inch bolus feeding extension set, a 6 ml syringe, a 35 ml enteral feeding syringe and a gauze pad.
